A Secret Threatens Newlyweds

Grazia and Antonio see in each other the solution to their problems, but a Venetian law forbids the union of a nobleman and a commoner. Despite this, Grazia and Antonio seek the permission to marry from the highest authority in Venice, the Doge himself.

When they are finally granted permission, they joyfully celebrate their union. Grazia revels in her newfound happiness and delights in the splendor of her new life as Antonio’s wife. Then Grazia learns a secret that threatens to shatter her dreams for the future.

Amid the dazzling beauty of Venice and the melodious harmonies of Vivaldi’s compositions, the couple must navigate the treacherous path that lies before them before their love is lost forever.
